Disappointing result. No midfield general to pass the ball to the forwards, Pavey looked knackered towards the end. But onwards and upwards.

AM talked about a couple of Knocks we had but really Alexander's toe injury is still a few weeks out and I hear that Clarke is having an operation soon and may be out till Christmas!! We missed them and our 2 suspended Starters.
Klass is not the same type as Clarke and perhaps we need to splash the cash for that creative midfielder that is needed to link with the forwards.

Time will tell if that was an ok point against an organised and hard working Chesham side.
After todays results the next 2 games dont look at all easy.

Last season first game the gate if my memory serves me correct was 19000 the year under 12000 have the supporters lost confidence also remember Brighton were not playing

Adam was spot on in saying we played like it was still pre season. I don’t agree the team are “too nice” we seem to get more sendings off than anyone but we definitely needed to close down and press quicker than that.

Last season we started with a 1-0 win and look how that turned out.. I wouldn't read into one result too much. Hopefully things will start to click over the next few matches.
