I know Mr Leslie said in January that his ambitions and plans for the future regarding the ground etc would be announced ‘next month’ but has anything been put out there yet? Thinking I may have missed it if it has.

Not heard anything, it'll be all over the home page once announced.. I wonder if some of the plans hinge on whether we survive in the league, though.

The owner has previously spoken of wanting a “sports village” with other sports like boxing potentially being based there. Also lots of talk about rehab facilities for players and the community. Doesn’t seem like such an issue right now but currently football league grounds don’t allow artificial pitches (although as we have seen they certainly help with winter fixtures). Then don’t forget the idea of hosting music festivals! It seems anything is possible.

If the owner wants all these wonderful facilities why not get the football side sorted first

As Simon appoints the manager, whilst he MAY not control results but can influence them.If he had taken a slower route to a full time side I suspect we would not be in the concerning position we are now.I know you cannot fault the changes he has made on the business side of things, changes at the ground, sponsorship etc,but as he admits he knows very little about football at this level.

Not all the changes he has made were made without thought for the spectators ie. The canopy over the dugouts have blanked off the vision of part of the pitch and the reserving the seats in front of the directors boxes has once again robbed the spectators of a good view, the closing of the side spectators entrance has made a long walk round from the parking area (I guess that was closed so that people had to pass the club shop and coffee shop)
