New manager is Adam Murray. Previously got AFC Fylde promoted from NLN and most recently assistant at Cheltenham Town in Legaue One.
Seems to be highly rated!

Just seen the interview with the new boss. Very down to earth, realistic about the size of the task, expecting a few knock backs along the way. Let’s hope a more modest set of expectations can help him and the team. Success now feels like keep us up, improve things, get some momentum to build for next season.

What was the point of appointment of Brad as interim manager wonder if he will now stay we need some experience players pronto Interim is not the same as care taker. Brad was probaly asked to step up to cover training etc until Adam had officially signed up... The ink may not have dried for 2 or 3 days and we couldnt leave it in limbo with no one in charge... Stop trying to find a fault in everything the club does!!!!

For those who might be interested?
Jack Paxman has signed for
“RAMSGATE”
And before anyone says anything, *YES* they now have two players with the same name.

Hi, all. Cheltenham fan here. You might find of the following thread on our message board of interest, including the interview with our chairman: www.robinsnestforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=31780Basically, there was an initial approach and we countered by offering AM a 45% pay rise plus an additional bonus if we stay in L1. This was accepted - but then you guys came back and basically told him to name his price, at which point, he jumped up and ran to you, not seeing out his contractual notice with us. You must be awash with cash to be able to make him an offer like that! Best of luck to you - he seems good, and he's very vocal during matches, much more so than our manager. Obviously, there's more to management than shouting from the touchline and he didn't exactly cover himself in glory at Fylde. I suspect he'll do well for you and the lengths your chairman has gone to get him on board says he must be confident.

Hopefully he does well 🙏. And yes we do have the privilege of money and best of luck for the season.

If ‘ not covering yourself in glory’ by getting your club promoted then we’ll take that. Maybe he did struggle the following season. He wouldn’t be the first and he won’t be the last.

Sounds like the Cheltenham Chairman isn't too happy, but we did had very little time to appoint a new manager before the door shut on the chance of survival. It won't be the first or the last time in football, albeit I might feel the same if it happened to us. At this stage of the season candidates willing and capable of giving us a fighting chance of survival must be hard to come by.

I think that money is a big incentive and maybe Cheltenham had not originally paid him enough but an even stronger factor is that once you have been the No.1 (Manager) and had success then playing 2nd fiddle can often not satisfy an ambitious youngish football man.
