[What the Dickens!?]

Thoughts on yesterday.. generally a low quality game with both sides seemingly short on ideas. Neither team did much in front of goal. I was hoping once we'd scored we would push on to secure a much needed win but we were allowing them far too much space to wander in and have a pop at goal, too many uncontested crosses going into the box too. Fortunately Dartford weren't great and most of the shots they had were tame or were scuffed past the post. Our own final third was patchy with a lot of overcooked passes, and on one particular occasion when we did string a move together and whip a cross into the box, we had no one attacking the 6-yard box. A piece of quality from Holman, who worked his socks off all game, gave us hope of three points but it feels like a missed opportunity to be honest. It's a point but needless to say we're going to have start picking up all 3 at home..

Dartford were very physical nearly every ball in the air they won, a fair point for us.
Holman was great all night he bounced off their defenders made space and got a very deserved reception after the game in the tunnel he's goal will long be remembered.
I thought Vigar deserved a mention for his battling display he did a lot of work in the middle and was there with his head to help out.
I think Mark made a good substitution at the start of the second half as Zak was being out muscled and got surprised by their defenders quite a bit, needs to build him self up for this league.

I thought we were superb defensively and dealt with Dartfords route one style brilliantly. I thought once paxman went off we lost the midfield completely. We looked knackered past the 70 th minute. If the ref had given the 28 the red then it would have been a completely different game. Great point considering the circumstances
