Great 3 points against Havant, never easy away from home despite the difficulties faced by the opposition. We're gaining a little momentum after our rough patch.. today will be tough against a team who will be getting increasingly used to this level and what is required. Looking at their results, they don't seem to have trouble scoring but have been generous at the other end too (4-3 loss to Havant, 3-2 win against Weston), so we should be able to create some opportunities - no reason we can't come away with something! Would be brilliant to extend a winning or unbeaten run..

Tough test today hoping for our best performance yet. The heat will definitely be a factor.. absolutely sweltering out there. Two full-time teams though, so even playing field. It might just be that Mark will have to think slightly differently about when to use subs etc. We shall see. |

Great 1st half 2 good goals and unlucky to not go into half time winning, poor decision from keeper and ended up getting lobbed. Playing really well though, confidence is getting there

Result aside, really good performance. Attacking wise we looked great shame we couldn’t involve Emmerson more. Definitely deserved a point… ignore our league position things are definitely on the up

Don’t like to slate players but have to agree Leslie is nowhere near good enough for this level I don’t think he’s get in most teams 2 levels below! Awkward on the ball rash when defending and can’t pass!

He never made the St ALBANS team last season was the manager told to sign him if will this continue the owner only allows certain players to sign may thatthe reason why we had to wait so long for a striker play Leslie next Saturday and it is bye bye Wembley

Things we learned today
1. This team have bags if potential and a great fighting spirit, proud of the lads today as we deserved more from the game.
2.More experience is needed at the back as Finney is too injury prone, although he is class.
3.Leslie is a good back up and not a starter, he has bags of potential but just needs to get used to the physical nature of the league.
4. Paxman is superb and hopefully he can keep his form.
5.We need to have more conviction in our shots.Too many times where we let the keeper make a great save. We are not scoring from positions where other teams would score from.
6. We need remy back as it was too reliant on Leon. Imagine what we could do when both are fit.
7. Yeovil fans think highly of us as a team.

It was a great game, we started so well but was happens so often after being well on top for the first 15 minutes we found ourselves a goal down from a poorly defended corner. Their 2nd goal although a mistake by Ben was a bit of a freak. Unfortunately Sheriff missed an open goal with a few minutes left which should have earned us a well deserved point. As far as the time added on which Mark alluded to, and it was unbearably hot there, was because there were 2 drinks breaks at 15 and 30 minutes in the first half and 1 in the second plus the substitutions.
