Interesting results yesterday. We know we’ll be joined by Maidstone, Yeovil and almost certainly Torquay. In the survival battle, Weymouth beat Taunton to set up a potential winner-takes-all match against Dover. Though it’s possible they could both go down if Weymouth win. Concord are still alive and could overhaul both Weymouth and Dover after drawing to Dulwich but need to win their last two games against Havant and us. There could well be something riding on our game this saturday. Dulwich would need to win against Chippenham to be sure of safety but a point could be enough. Promises to be an exciting final day (maybe not for the clubs involved though)..

Always referred as the business end of the season and this year is no different. Playing the likes of Maidstone, Yeovil and Torquay feel like we’re in the old Division 4, for us of a certain age. Also interesting is who comes up from the Southern Premier. What an interesting potential fixture, Yeovil v Aveley!!

If Truro come up and Weymouth manage to survive we’ll be racking up the miles next season..

Playing Leicester, Leeds, Forest and Brighton a decade ago to preparing for a derby with Taunton.. surreal.

Not Truro Lost last night. As far as I can see they beat Poole yesterday! Playing Bracknell in the final.. so there’s still the prospect of a long old trip to deepest darkest Cornwall! (or Plymouth, or wherever they happen to be playing)

Truro City & Aveley are promoted to National League South.
This means one current south team will have to transfer to the North section.
Geography it,s newly promoted Bishops Stortford.
But things could change after our Playoffs.

Heading westward next season then! I wonder if we've ever had this many teams from the west country in the league at once?

Had hoped that we would play Worthing over the festive period next season, but have a bad feeling we will get Dover.

Bishop Stortford have had their request to be placed in the National South rejected by the FA
They will be playing in the Northern Section for season 23/24.
Depending on Promotion/Relegation for season 23/24 they could be in the South season 24/25.
