Who thought it’d come down to this? Farnborough losing yesterday means their chances of reaching the play-offs are reduced. Tonbridge also have a very slim chance and Havant would likely need to win all of their remaining games. Win against Braintree on saturday and we’d leapfrog them into pole position with Concord to play at home for the final game, who by then may already by relegated. Every game is tough in this league but it’s a great feeling to know we’re still playing for something and every match counts!

I agree that we'd struggle as things stand to make the jump, but then - who knows what can happen in the summer? I wouldn't know what the finances are like and whether any investment is on the horizon.
What I can say though is that we've come on strides in the past few years and it's great to be competing at the right end of the table. It's genuinely exciting to watch and the crowds reflect this (I know, before anyone mentions it.. a fair few free tickets! but even if we take those away we've definitely increased attendance and interest in the club). The bar takings must have risen too.
Back to the play-off question.. from what I've seen this season, I'm not convinced that any of the play-off contenders really have what it takes at this moment in time for the step-up. It's a big big jump..
