Two clean sheets on the turn and evidence emerging of a change of defending strategy in particular when dealing with set plays. What strikes me as being the most positive feature is the improvement in morale within the team? The conditions last night were appalling but every player fought for the cause. That’s heartwarming and hopefully, means we are entering a period of good form that could edge us towards the higher end of the table.

Point taken about a need for a striker. I think everyone in football except Man City needs one of those! Never mind, we do score goals from attacking midfield positions though and if we can get a striker, that would be the icing on the cake. A couple of the youngsters are out on loan gaining playing time and experience so they should come back fitter and hopefully will have learned a lot. Fingers crossed for a good spell.
