In the interest of balance, a pretty good season overall. Sixth position on a budget far lower than many rivals. Realistically, promotion to the National league would probably have meant a swift return to the South.

Great season, on balance. Goes to show what good management and shrewd signings can do, even on a relatively small budget. Yes, we ran out of steam at the end, so there's always room for improvement - but securing a play-off berth with games to spare is some achievement. It awaits to be seen whether we can repeat the feat next season - that should be the aim! The crowds towards the end of the season show the club's potential if the team continues to play attractive, exciting football and remains competitive.

Dargiles, you’ve watched a whole lot more of EB, this season than me, but why would you break up a team that got to the playoffs?
Surely you just add to it, rather than start again!

I think he’s referring to the fact that many of the players are on loan. As a result they will automatically lose Charley Kendall, Jack Currie, Luke Nippard, Trent Mahorn, Dom Hutchinson and Kai Innocent. Real shame as it would have been great to have built a team around these talented youngsters. I’ve also heard that James Vaughan may be leaving to go back to the States. I’m sure other players may also be out of contract so we will have to wait and see how things develop. No doubt will be a very different looking team next season.

Yes I was referring mainly to the loan players which account for a large proportion of our squad we will need to replace these as soon as possible we will struggle unles we do this is the last thing we want a winning team good attendance
