We gave this game away sloppy defending why leave Nippar on the bench when the defence was struggling

because the defence wasn't struggling - it was sleeping !
Unbelievable - the bloke sat with me said when we were 3 up' I feel sorry for Welling they are going to get a real pasting in the second half' - I hope Danny ripped their ears off at the end, we gave the game away , Welling were very, very poor

What a shambles. 3 - 0 up at half time and thought it was all done and time to have a rest. A compete throw away of 2 points. I hope that this lesson has been learnt.

unbelievable, 8 games unbeaten, six of them wins. you could cut the team some slack ffs. They take the applauds when they are winning so people are entitled to feel disappointed after a result like today’s. Sorry but 3 nil up against the worst team I have seen all season and to then throw it away is poor in my book. The team were sloppy, complacent and a shadow of the team we have seen in recent matches. Not too dissimilar to Slough last week, albeit against better opposition, when we were coasting only to let it slip by sitting back too much. Imo, by leaving out the Rollinson Nippard combination, that was working well earlier in the year, we have lost the attacking threat on the right hand side. Will need to improve on this on Monday but hopefully it was a wake up call that matches are never won until the final whistle blows.

I'm sure Nippard must be gutted travelling from Bournemouth he was the obvious choice to support our defence when it was required Mr Bloor makes some very strange subs what a pity with largest gate for many years I wonder how many will come again after seeing the second half display

A good lesson to learn hopefully before the (we hope) play-offs. Always play to the final whistle.. the team has been incredible this season but 45 minutes like that can lead to a swift exit. Have to keep your concentration! Good to have a quick opportunity to make amends against a fellow play-off chasing team today.
