I was going to post last night but thought I would wait until the rage and disappointment abated - well that didn't work ......................

THAT WAS bloomin APPALLING -

I bet Mr Bloor said ' don't give them anything in the first 15 mins as they will shoot out of the blocks' - so a bone lazy back pass after 10 mins gifts them a goal

Their keeper didn't have to make a decent save all night

Our Skipper (Charlie) spent more time shouting at the Ref than he did his team

Most passes were square, back or just lazily overhit = long ball crap

And it was cold..............

Braintree must look at this and think we surely weren't that bad were we to lose to this lot ?

Rant over - worried about getting a hammering at Maidstone Saturday though

Just about sum,s it up, No passion (unlike Horsham), poor in all areas.

The only other thing that was poor was the ref.

Well said lesboro I think the man who inspired the team has moved to Spain I also wonder if the manager watches the same match as most of the supporters watch

I could understand if Horsham played us off the park and scored a quality goal, but neither happened. If you can’t be up for a lucrative tie against Woking with decent prize money then perhaps there are some players who shouldn’t be wearing the shirt.

I have just listened to Danny's comments re: last night's game,he says"it not all gloom and doom we lost 1 game,but remember the result of against Braintree".However you may be able to win or lose 1 league game with little effect on the season,lose 1 cup game and it's over for another year.Horsham played the same way on Tues as on Saturday,we all knew their 9 caused us problems sat. but received no special attention last night.Icouldn't detect any plan be,we kept sending high balls into their box which they dealt with easily.Lets face it they were much better organised ,after scoring sat back and absorbed very little pressure,put pressure on our players all the time,as on Saturday,don't just blame Ferry Danny ,you got it wrong.

very disappointed re tuesday night as you all say we should of been right up for this they gave us a scare saturday so we knew it would be another hard game this season we seem not to be able to put a run of good performances together we have so far not really got close to last seasons form i am sure we have the players to push on but we must bounce back quickly Maidstone will be hard lets hope Danny can inspire a reaction to our sad cup defeat.....

I see we’re asked to to check out the highlights of the match. No me neither. Their no.9 caused problems over the 2 matches. Why isn’t it possible for us to get a player like that? Wouldn’t have thought he would cost the earth.

Tuesdays match reminded me of the Jaime Howell days, 10 passes in our half then lump it forward to number no one.

This is virtually the same team as last aborted season but are playing with no confidence or commitment so what has gone in the dressing room

Sometimes asking the same players to reproduce the success of the previous season can be difficult. Tuesdays match gave the impression just turn up and we’ll be in the next round. Maybe this match was a wake up call, only time will tell. Equally Sergio’s departure may have some bearing although it didn’t when we spanked Braintree. This season is still in its infancy, let’s see where we are at Xmas.
