The match today against Hemel could make the difference between a good season and an average one, if we're to rate on final league position. A win could lift us to 10th and would guarantee 11th. A loss could potentially see us drop to 14th. So along with the players still wanting to prove themselves for next season, there's still all to play for.
The match of the day regarding next seasons Conference South make up, though, has to be Poole vs. Corby in the Southern League Premier, with both locked on 91 points. The winner of that game will gain automatic promotion.. Although Corby would probably go North.

0-0 F/T - We finish the season in 11th place.
Result from the Southern League is Poole 2-3 Corby. So the only confirmed addition from the leagues below is Maidstone. Dartford will be joining us from the Conference Premier and the other two spots are still up for grabs!

Interestingly, this is the first season since 2007-2008 where we've finished with a positive goal difference. So definite improvements have been made there. Our away form let us down a bit over the course of the season, as can be seen by the contrast between our home record (4th best in the league: 38 points) and away record (19th in the league: 17 points).

So we ended the campaign with a 0-0 draw. It could have been better, it could have been worse ( a penalty blazed 5 ft wide of Lewis's post helped) Losing KKJ with injury that I believe is a broken nose and was unconscious for a minute or two upset the back line. Pacman slotted in to an unfamiliar midfield role. We had our chances, they had theirs but at the end it was stalemate. Nice touch of the whole matchday squad to come to us away fans and acknowledge our support including a nice touch when Ian Simpemba slipped the captians armband on a youngsters arm. Have a great summer guys and fingers crossed we saw you all back in August.

We had the best of the first half ,they the second ,Lewis Carey showed once again why he was voted by the Supporters their Player of the Season with yet another exemplary performance ,he would not be beaten ,next season will not he any easier .The Hemel fans who recently visited Whitehawk were not very impressed ! .
