After the "exciting" season following The Sports Home and Away, do any fans have any opinions on the above: Should the Manager tweak what we have or should he do what his former Hastings protege at Dorchester - Mark Morris is boldly planning to do at the Magpies and clear out 10 player's in the close season? Also, does anyone know who has left and who remains at Boro'? The Official site - Player Profiles haven't been updated. I heard that Dean Cox has now been offered a Pro contract at BHA?? Liam Baitup? Anton Robinson?? Ollie Rowland? Lee Worgan? ?

I hear that Robinson has gone (never looked committed anyway), don't know of any others. There was a rumor floating about that Tucky might not have another season in him and that he was going to coach, but he said that last year. I would guess that Marney, Hemsley and maybe Warner will go, and we really need a stronger partner for Scott as Lee seems to be a little injury prone.

I think that we have seen the last of Anton Robinson. Kevin Hemsley is an enigma, and can't see them wanting to hold to him. But if he is on a contract, as most seem to be now, he can only go if others want him. Dan Marney, hasn't set the team alight, and he was offered the option of a full time contract with Crawley, I think...amazing. It's interesting with reference to Phil Warner. He was head and shoulders above the other player's... last season he looked class. But this season didn't look special and was prone to losing his cool...again, a contracted player, so, unless it was a short contract, same applies with him. I like Lee Newman, anonymous on the pitch, but seems to pop up with crucial goals - quite on the pitch....ok a little light weight, but I prefered him to Louis, who, never at anytime looked a threat to the oppo goal, unless he was standing on the goal line for a tap in. I hope it will be a busy close season and not window dressing. Although we have some big game player's, they do not / have not gelled as a team this season. We need a team that can boss a game and win at Home. Unfortunately, the last Home game of the season - draw against Dorchester, I think summed up the season for us...Underwhelmed! glad to scrape into a Conference South place next season. We must be one of the last Clubs at this level to be run by Committee...all power to them, inc GnN to keep us up here against some impressive financial muscle aka Football ltd companies (opposition sides) in Conf South.

Alan, Worgan is now on the books of Cardiff City and has been their substitute goalkeeper for recent first team matches in the Championship.

Something I find strange is the amount of quality players we have signed, that have come to us with good pedigrees, and not delivered. Marney, Hemsley, Robinson this season, and the likes of Beck last season to name a few. We obviously have the carrot to tempt these players, and I know that sometimes things don't work out, but these are quality players. I jumped for joy when we signed Marney, he's looked good in fits and starts but rarely played. Are they just here to pick up a pay packet, maybe it's a confidence thing with the poor season we have had, or are we not getting the best out of them?

Rob, I've also heard the same concerns from other guys who go to most of the Boro games - that we've signed some exceptional player's from Crawley, and where ever else, and then become ordinary with us!! I don't know what the reasons could be but I guess it could be confidence, on the back of a catastrophic front end to the season. It could be training methods or lack of floodlit training pitches, to keep the player's sharp, in between matches. It could be motivation or lack of it. I just hope that GnN discover, whatever it was that enabled them to fly through the Leagues, pulling the Club along, next season...as without a question it will get more difficult, as next season there will be no "stand out" weak sides.

Andrew, David Bauckham has not found as much time, as I'd guess he'd like, to keep the Official website up to date. Do you know whether the Club are going to take the responsibility on next season...naturally many thanks to DB for what he has and does do. That is if you know, of course.

Apparently a number of player's contracts are up. So, this may mean a number of changes?
