I went to the game and it was a strange but an amazing game.
3 - 0 at half time. 3 - 1 / 4 - 1 / 4 - 2 then 5 - 2 and finally 6 - 2.
Atkin got 2, Crabb 1, Warner 1, Their No15 own goal - apparently it was Atkin - off crossbar, over line then hit No15 who headed it into the net ??, Tuck 1.
Scrappy game, with no passing game because their pitch was dry, v.v.bumpy - hence mistake by Tuck when ball bobbled. Not a pitch for stringing passes together. They had the HairDryer treatment at half time. Their dressing room window was open and their manager was just swearing at them!! for all to hear.
We found it difficult to shut the game down hence the 2 goals in reply in the second half, but our lads decided to scythe through their defence and...win emphatically.
Bad News - Ollie Rowland was at the game and commented that he'd had a set back with his injury and may miss next season too!!! His contract is up in two weeks.
