This is the crucial game where three points will definitely save our season. I am going, how could I miss this one after the end to end game at Welling!! They'll be tough, as their recent results have shown, but I reckon we will get no less than one point. I might put a fiver on a win. Anybody feel more positive than my cautious forecast?

I think a win is a distinct possibility. Our lads have shown real courage in recent weeks. They've not panicked about the low league position and threat of relegation. Instead they've worked hard and kept a great team spirit and that has started to show itself if our results. I think 2-1 to the Borough.

It is a bit cautious Alan - has the season taken its toll on you too?? I'm going for 2 - 0 (Newman 2). Also, I dont know what you think but I hope if we are safe on the last home game we play our strongest team, as home wins this season have been as rare as rocking horse sh*te and it would be nice for the fans to finish with a good win.

I remember Steve Dell, hard working defender who always got stuck and scored is only goal against Dorchester but what a goal it was, a cross that looped over the keeper's head! (http://www.eastbourneboroughfc.co.uk/html/v_dorchester__h__31_jan_04.html) Will be good to see him back as I always rated him highly.

Steve Dell, along with fellow loan signing Ian Pulman, helped Borough climb up the Dr. Martens Premier League table following an injury crisis around Christmas 2003. Dell made his debut, I seem to remember, against Moor Green, alongside another debutant - a fresh-faced young midfielder signed that week from Whitehawk...Ollie Rowland Pulman incidentally is currently part of the Ramsgate squad that has just clinched promotion to the Ryman Premier League.
