Braintree now two up. Looks like we'll be staying where we are, just a lot closer to the other clubs, and still with two games in hand!

Welling got (another) late winner. 85mins. Newport also won 1-0. Eastleigh scored in 71st minute - spoilsports! Still, another point to the cause and the unbeaten run goes on.

Not only lost the least, but conceded the least as well. the defence has had a fantastic season. As for the game, it was a hard game with a weakened boro side.Boro were under pressure for most of the second half and it must be said that Eastleigh did deserve the point. Although the lads didnt play all that well, the work rate was unfaultable. Ramsay, Harding and Atkins never stopped running. Armstrong commanded the midfield well And the defence was its usual self.Pullen won just about everything at the back. Player of the season ?

Player of the season??.............all of em'. If pushed......Pullen, with Jay Lovett and Pat Harding followed by Armo, Jenkins, Austin and Baker and Smart, not necessarily in that order....Oh, and Duncan Disorderly for some sublime moments and a few ridiculous ones too ;D

Someone told me at the game that Jason Dodds shouted at Garry, apparently he thought that G' was a "BANKER!" I'm sure that G' is not in that line of business!! ...anyway Eastleigh have a load of "real" bankers who are directors on the Board, at the helm, steering them into relegation waters??
