:(The away match next Tuesday 6th March at Eastleigh has been postponed untill a date in April. The reason given is that they have been instructed to play a Hampshire County Cup match that night. We are still taking booking's for the folowing Saturday,) for the trip to Salisbury City, (Partners & Pals ). Phone Les Baker (735378) or see us at the Supporters Club H.Q. in the ground on Saturday against Newport if you would like to come. E.be.F.C.S.C. (Travel Section)

The Eastleigh official site has the game down for Wednesday 11th April just two days after our Easter Monday game with Cambridge and we have to play again on the Saturday, so three matches that week!

Seems we are not the only club with a problem pitch.....
Taken from the Southern Daily Echo :
'AFTER splashing out nearly £40,000 on their pitch last summer, Eastleigh fear they could face a huge backlog in fixtures after hitting more problems with their aptly named Silverlake' Stadium playing surface.
After yet more overnight rain, the Spitfires had to call off Saturday's Conference South game at home to title-chasing Bishop's Stortford - losing four match day sponsors in the process'
we are not alone
