I wonder if the club will finally do something with the pitch after this fiasco. This is not a new problem and I am sure it rained just as hard at Hastings and on the Saffrons. I mean even Lewes have managed to keep going on their pitch which in the past has been renown for being unplayable after rain. With current technology it is becoming rare for football at senior levels to be postponed and yet a day of rain on Priory Lane within a couple of days of a game and you just know the pitch will be unplayable.
I hope I can eat my words after the pitch inspection in the morning!

It must be that there is a fault with the drainage system or that it was installed incorrectly. It does seem that the Club are trying to secure a grant to put things right.
