Just a couple of very sticky areas, but boggy enough for the ref; to sink into by a couple of inches. Weather forcast favourable up till Monday night, so fingers crossed, for Tuesday.

How is it going to affect the players match fitness not having played a game for just over 2 weeks when this game is played???

I can assume they must do an early inspection as i believe if Northwich set off and game is called off, we are liable for their fees etc ... It appears that if off tonight then re sceduled for thursday this week. No chance then as gale force winds due back...

Having scanned the Northwich fans forum, I think their team travelled down yesterday afternoon. If the game is called off again and scheduled for Thursday, will Northwich stay in Eastbourne till then. Will the club have to pay for the accomodation all the time Northwich are in town? Also judging by the weather forecast for the rest of the week, conditions are not going to get any better than they are now. Could be a mudbath tonight, ideal for a cup upset.

Just heard, unoffically, that there is a pitch inspection at midday. Not looking very promising at the moment, as looking from my office window, the Downs have disappeared from view again!

I dont think we should have to pay for northwich to have a 3 day holiday in sunny Eastbourne, seems a bit unfair.. Hey Jack shouldnt you be getting on with some work instead of gazing out your window at the lovely view and spending time on message boards...?

artiefufkin A bit of mult-itasking and computer processing time, allows me the opportunity to work, study the weather, enjoy the view and have a cup of coffee at the same time. By the way I can see the Downs again and its stopped raining.
