A bad day all round starting with getting there late because of an accident on the M25 and finding us already one down shortly to go to down through very poor defensive work. The most worrying thing is the players did not appear up for the fight lbeing totally lack lustre and out of sorts and even acking motivation after what would have been their probable half time roasting as they came out very early for the second half. With other sides at the bottom picking up points and putting a run of form together at a crucial time it appears it could become a straight fight between us and Hayes for the second relegation slot with Maidenhead probably looking doomed already.If we don't get our act together over the next 7 days in the two home matches we really will be looking down the gun barrel. A further fear is whatever happens you could probably name up to 10 players in the squad that have underperformed at various times this season and to bring in as many as 10 new players to address our problems for next season will no doubt be problematical even if such players were available as many of our existing squad are I understand on contracts that do not end at the end of this season.
