Eastbourne Borough have been drawn at HOME to Conference side Northwich Victoria in the second round of the FA Trophy. The Vics, currently 17th in the Conference, beat Farsley Celtic in the last round and of course were thumped 8-0 by Brighton in the FA Cup last month. They'll be only the fifth team from Conference National or higher to visit Priory Lane for a senior competitive match after Farnborough Town, Stevenage Borough, Gravesend and Northfleet and Oxford United.

Lewes had only 728 for the Oxford game. Christmas approaching so people have other things to do, but even still Lewes FC must be very disappointed. Shame.

will this be a all ticket match Don't think so, we've played matches against Conference teams before and they've just been 'normal' games.

Still a big match for the club and if we can play the same way we did yesterday and get a bit of luck history will be created by beating a Conference club for the first time.

About time we got another home tie! If they play as well as they did at Gloucester, Hastings and Fisher we should go through, just so long as they get a little bit keener in front of goal. It's all well and good making plenty of chances, but they need to put them in the net as well, and Northwich Victoria won't make as many errors at the back as Gloucester and Hastings did (well, I don't expect they will, but you never know!). But feeling confident for at least a draw, and so long as we don't tire out in the last ten minutes or so, I think we'll go through, 2-0 or 2-1.
