Good to see common sense prevail and United awarded the title for winning more points that other below them. I guess the YMCA go up as they were the only team to actually apply for promotion.

Correct Jim. The Oval certainly wouldn't have passed current grading regulations. I understand Three Bridges and Redhill grounds were also approved if they had been promoted.

Well done United.
Even if the ground had passed it is probably sensible to stay in that league. It's a real shame they have to play in such a depressing place when Town have got the picturesque Saffrons and Borough have got a tidy stadium which meets Conference standards.

Think Horsham YMCA had to finish in the top two to get promoted, they finished 3rd (on goal difference) so won't go up this season. Also Redhill and Three Bridges either withdrew their application or their grounds didn't make the grading.
