well nick yes are attendances are up at the moment, last saturday was one of the best games i have seen at the lane but if we start getting beaten by clubs at the base of our league you know as well as me that they will plummit...getting on to your comments in the herald regarding the subsitutions at the basingstoke game i know you don,t make them to please the crowd but would,nt it have been a good idea to kill some time and get some fresh legs on. after salisbury i think lessons may have been learnt don,t you....

No link, just get the Herald for 45p. Also isn't it strange that just a few days after Maz mentions how well the crowds are doing the Herald mention it in the main headline on the back page, are they reading this?

Nearly always agree with what Ken writes in the Herald, good to hear that he is listening to the fans.

Thank you for that Ollie. I'm away at Uni a lot of the time. It's hard to track down the Herald in London. What did the article say?

Thank you for that Ollie. I'm away at Uni a lot of the time. It's hard to track down the Herald in London. What did the article say? Basically said: "Great that crowds are up and we are on the right track. Great performance and result against Salisbury. Talk of playoffs is too premature and players understand this. Subs are made not to please the crowd but decisions made on what me and Garry thinks are right in each match. Crowd do not know everything about the player, we know more. Len Smith is behind us all the way."

Fair to say that Boro play better against the better clubs, and tend to find it hardest against the lower-end clubs. When quality open football is played, they do well, when a team closes it down or packs the defence, then Boro struggle.
Maybe that bodes well if we can get promotion?
