WELL,THE CHANCES WE HAD TO KILL OF BASINGSTOKE TODAY AND WE THREW 2 POINTS AWAY. THEY WHERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SHARE THE POINTS WERE,NT THEY. HOW MANY TIMES DID WE CROSS THE BALL INFRONT OF GOAL TO FIND NO ONE THERE? WE WERE THE BETTER TEAM BY FAR WITH GOOD PERFORMANCES FROM MANY PLAYERS THEN COCKED UP IN THE FINAL MINUTES. WHY DIDN,T WE BRING ON SOME SUBS TO USE UP SOME TIME ? WELL ,DON,T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT IM WELL PI--ED OFF...

we go from one extreme to the other, meaningless subs in some games then today, what do we get Jack shi@t. Midfield were tiring and they needed a lift but no let's struggle.

What did Francis Vines do ? threw his dice and came up with a point.

What did Boro do ? nothing and threw in the towel. same old , same old.

Too right gb, after a decent first half with some good passing football they seemed to be asleep after the break and resorted to more long balls up field and with the wind behind the forwards didnt stand much chance..Why wernt 2 or 3 subs brought on mid second half to freshen things up and why waste 2 corners near the end by passing the ball to each other by the corner flag- total waste... cross it in, get the second goal, game over.. Over-all a wasted oppurtunity to get 3 points against a poor side..

Had the chance to kill them off, many times at 1-0 but we fell asleep!!!! Wilson's usual tactical errors have cost us again (failure to make subs when needed) and lack of concentration at the end have cost us. Im not sure Garry's up to the job!!!! we saw who the cleverer manager was yesterday!! Vines!

We are seeing this kind of performance far to frequently.
First half we played some of the best football I have ever seen us play, Neil and Adam in particular were linking up really well on the left, Armo had a clear cut penalty turned down, and Smarty was outstanding, all it lacked was that killer pass and I could see us getting three or four against (no disrespect) a poor Basingstoke side. Then it's as if the players had been drugged during the half-time talk, we sat back and seemed content to hold on to what we had and try to catch them on the break, very dangerous and ultimately very costly.
Gutted.

I agree boro4eva. I think he is up to the job to a point, he has been a footballer unlike his partner who has not, who continually agrivates the players and often falls out with them. I heard on the grapevine that yesterday the subs were told they wouldnt be played due to a spat in the changing room with NG.Vines is a shrewd manager and seems to be doing a job with a poor team.

All of you. What the bloomin hell are you talking about "sack the Manager" why because they made a mistake in the 93rd minute and drew the game which they shud have easily won!!
For being 6th in the table !!
For playing some of the best football in the first half that i have seen from us for a long time !!
What do you know about dressing room unrest? you only post on here when you have negative things to say. I pay my money at the gate the same way you lot do and yes we are all entitled to our opinions but come on do you seriously believe that Gary Wilson should be sacked because of what happened yesterday? .
I was behind the goal for the corner because i was on my way to congratulate the players and then the ball hits a basingstoke player on the shin and goes in !!!!! my god thats football grow up the lot of you. Within seconds of that happening a large number of fans went and didnt say unlucky to the players- i was one that didnt as i stayed behind, yes gutted but still boro and not a fickle fan. Well done to the band who stayed and clapped the boys as they came off, the disappointment was there for everyone to see and beleive me those boys cared.

Get behind the lads dont abandon them and remember anyone can start a rumour and only fools beleive them

I agree with Bredred and co: on their day the boys can produce some really excellent stuff. It has been in patches though. It was particularly disappointing against Basingstoke when we held the upper hand for so long, especially in the first half. I thought Neil Jenkins had a fine game, with many of our attacks being initiated by him. Pity about the end!

Whilst at the game I was speaking to someone and they said that Mark Goodwin has signed for Lewes. I think this makes it 6 forwards for them now.

yes we are in a better position than last year and look how we played then. everybody was slagging of gary and co. us fans would like to see some common sense used by the manager in situations like saturdays. waste time , sub some players to kill the clock down,just pass backwards and forwards,let them come to us . we were winning ,get everyone behind the ball....for god sake all managers do it wenger,fergy jose....you don,t need to be a genius do you.....first half were we good or what ,everyone was outstanding then we just fell away,tired legs or what i don,t know but lets all look forward to a inprovement at the next game and support the lads.....boro 4 ever...

i agree we should have made some subs in the game to waste time at the end insteed of holding the ball in the corner remember two seasons age when we were beating grays at home 2-1 and we held the ball in the corner and lost the ball and then conceeded NOT good enough guy just attack remembe two seasons ago again when we had weston-super-mare away at basinstoke a cold night that was i remember we were winning 1-0 and insted of holding the ball in the corner we attacked and we got that great second goal and one the game so why can't we attack all the time hay

if we have the ball in a attacking position ie near there corner flage than we sould try to get a goal if we score then we have a 2 goal comfot zone so if we have the ball in there half try to score it's obvious
