Two really good points- 5 points away from the bottom 2 now which is important
They were a good side Weymouth and I think shocked to go 1 down - although that was our 3rd close shot on the bounce
Funny how 10 men can up their game, they looked better than when they had 11 - how their manager screamed about the red card is beyond me, their player nearly caught him in the throat his foot was that high
Penalty was spot on I had a clear view (although it was the number 11 again who seemed to fall to earth if anyone went within 2 ft of him !!)
and you have to admit Dean Cox exudes class when he comes on - his passing and vision is well above this level - his shot that hit the bar at the end was sublime
My only worry - 2 centre backs off injured
COYS

A good performance last night, as stated it could have gone either way. Thought Walker and Laur had excellent games and ran their socks off. The whole team showed a lot of spirit and fight against a good Weymouth side.

Once again a great performance from the lads, shame about the penalty but more games like that and the crowds should be rolling in. The Weymouth big wigs were silenced most of the time after our goal went in, I don't think they expected to get even!

I thought it was good to see a bit more of the real Dean Cox. He showed a lot more last night of what he can do and hopefully there is more to come.

You are right Golfer. Cox made a big difference when he came on as the midfield was beginning to tire. Always had the ability, but why can't he always play like that? The stand in gaffers did a great job every player knew what was wanted from them. Luer playing deep on the right worked his socks off. He may not be the most clinical of finishers, but he can go past defenders as if they are not there. He was my MOM. Weymouth played some lovely 1/2 touch football, they are the best team I have seen At Priory Lane this season, but we weren't far off. The game was a credit to the NFLS. Pity about the low gate!

Yes I did think the gate would be bigger given all the publicity we’ve had recently, weather wasn’t a problem. We now await to see who the next manager is, because I wouldn’t have a clue.

I would if I could but have a long term commitment I'm sure some of the older members don't want to turn out in the evening so please have some consideration for them because they have been the backbone of the club and still are so there is no reason why Kevin Anderson cannot give a full report of this meeting
