Welcome to both! They look to be good additions who may need a little time to settle at the higher level, but they're both arriving from successful teams which should bring with it a winning mentality. Hendon is a straight replacement for Craig Stone and I imagine Drage will in time take over from Ian Simpemba as the latter moves more in the direction of coaching.

In the last few seasons, the promoted sides have done very well in their first year at this level, so I am sure these players who played in the Ryman's last year will quickly adapt and do a good job for us.

About from Torres why are we only signing Ryman league players,I think that's all the contacts the guys have.

Nothing wrong in signing these players if they are amongst the best players from last years Rymans league. Look at Hungerford last season, they did well and ended up above us after being promoted from the Rymans.

Amongst the best players one got released from Dulwich not good enough for them,Worthing ended up bottom half and burgess hill just about stayed up,so these players are no where near the best players from the league below.

Having seen both PSF's so far, the new players in the back line seem to be OK for the league, Torres has been outstanding in midfield , JT, sadly up front on his own. Pinney, usual lack of work rate. Street needs to go out on loan and get more expierience.( Not ready yet!)I feel its up front that needs sorting out badly, followed by the midfield.

I think we'll see one or two more faces before the start of the season - the additions so far have been fine. Although I would say that I'm not sure we'll push for the play-offs as things stand. Torres should prove a canny addition - he's been there before and the only question mark for me is how he'll hold up fitnesswise over the course of the season. The other 3 are all still comparatively young and I don't subscribe to the view that shopping in the lower leagues shows a lack of ambition.. one man does not make a team. Vardy started out at Stocksbridge Park Steels afterall..

Dulwich have had a big clear out & brought in a lot of experience .' 3 players from Dover 1 of which is a c half that was picked in the team of the season & was previously at West Ham. 1 from white hawk ,& Ashley Robinson ex town & Utd. That could explain why a young c half has left & He may have impressed JH in games v Bognor. Burgess hill & Worthing both promote youth & build within their means. In the senior cup last season Worthing played 8 u18s v boro , & did the same in the ryman cup. The benefits were seen in last weeks game , as mentioned all the Worthing players knew there job v a team that had been together 3 weeks. Things like that take time to put in place, I think JH is a good fit & it will take time but I for 1 like what is happening at the lane.

I note that 2 players that played for Boro 18s last season played for Hastings 1st team on saturday & did well. Ansu & Matt Barbosa. Are they on loan or have they left the Academy? i saw Ansu training with the first team this season & i know Barbosa was playing for Hailsham, just wondered if they ve been sent out to get experience ? Harry Ransom looks a good prospect too & i it was good to see him get minutes in the psf,he's very tidy & could learn a lot fromTorres.
