Was always going to be a tough task to visit title contenders at this stage of the season.

Many good aspects to Borough's play, including an outstanding move and finish for Ryan's goal. Some good individual performances including Jack Evans, whose passing was a couple of classes above Conference South. A draw would not have been unjust. But two poor goals conceded - both to swift breaks after possession was lost. Two excellent chances for 2-2 not taken - terrific Bromley goalkeeping, to be fair. Bromley remain the best side Borough have played this season and they are full of goalscorers. Pretty strong words from TW afterwards - which you can hear on this link: audioboom.com/boos/3074928-eastbourne-borough-boss-tommy-widdrington-after-defeat-to-bromley

An entertaining game, Boro denied a point with 2 great saves from the Bromley keeper in the final minutes with Bromley literally hanging on to their goal advantage.Bromley fans screaming for the whistle to end the game with over 5 mins to go,not including the 4 mins injury time, that's how on top we were. Good performance generally from most players, Locky and Pac never featured much, Macullum was outstanding. . Bromley Started the game well and were on top for the first 20mins with Slabber posting a good goal, but then we appeared to gradually get back into the game, with only Bromley’s fast wingers causing our defence problems on the counter attack. We was well on the offensive when Ryan Worrall great volley made the scores level just before half time.Second half, sadly Khinda John allowed Golderg to cut in on his favourite right foot for their second goal which I thought was a deflection. But to be truthful and on reflection we were the better team!

Very strong words from Tommy. Wonder what Monday will bring. I think you will find that some things may remain behind the dressing room door, and that is the correct way. In TW you have - thank goodness - a man who is passionate about the game and about the club. On the touchline, in his coaching sessions, even sometimes when I stick a microphone under his chin. I'm cool with that.

My self and 3 other boro fans went to see Gary Hart play for his team Royston Town away at Leighton Town rather than go to Bromley on saturday . Royston won the game 4-1 even after having a player sent of in the first half. Gary was rather embarassed but still pleaesd to see us and came to talk to us before and after the game and have a drink in the clubhouse. He also asked how his former team mates are getting on and he keeps a eye on our league position. whilst we were keeping a eye on what was happening in Bromley and getting reports of us being the better team for much of the game which was good to hear. Gary is living back in Essex with his two daughters and coaching youngsters at Bishops Stortford and also training at Tottenham Hotspur. Gary is trying to organise a pre season game with us playing royston so lets hope something happens between the clubs.

I couldnt have said it better myself.... only thing to add was 2nd goal was going wide until that blasted deflection... On this display, lets hope TW gets the lads signed up...

I agree with Kevin, and Jack Evans was my MOM probably his best game since joining us. Although this was another defeat on the road, it was very encouraging to see such a good display against the likely champions and it was they who desperately hung on as we were well on top for the last 15-20 minutes, and the key moment was that double save from their goalkeeper from Haysman who timed his run well. If we can hold on to this set of players we will have some good times next season.

Dear Mr Widdrington Please go easy on the lads on Monday as they were a whisker away from getting a deserved point against the champions elect. A spirited display against a side who were never going to make it easy for the Borough. We couldn't get our passing game together in the first half and only lost the game to a deflection. Augurs well for next season!!
