I have played a few matches on 3G before and it's actually a really nice playing surface. However, slide tackles can be a major problem. Where is the money coming from though?

if you read the article in the Herald it tells you where the money will be generated from. As this is now in the local paper I would say things are at an advanced stage

More on these developments on the club's website: ebfc.co.uk/news.php?viewmessage=247Sounds exciting! I presume training sessions would then be on the artificial pitch too (prior to home matches), as it'd make little sense to train on a different surface. The only concern would be, if - as is stated - the sights are set on the Football League, trying to convince the FL clubs to follow suit. But I think we likely have a number of years before we're in a position to talk of that possibility, by which time the investment should have paid off.

If I buy shares do you think I can ask to have my money ringfenced to resurface the 'road' to the car park?

If I buy shares do you think I can ask to have my money ringfenced to resurface the 'road' to the car park? Off topic I know but I believe that resurfacing etc is out the question due to rules governing land being able to allow rain to the permeate the surface to prevent flooding.. Whether that relates to the whole read car park and its access I'm not certain.
