Proud of the lads for winning and holding on to the lead for so long! Certainly shut all of us up!

A hard earned 3 points but not due to good oppostion, but more a case of overcoming a truly awful playing surface that did nothing to allow the free flowing passing game that we have witnesses from Boro on a number of occasions this season. Quite frankly any accurate pass could have met its target of bounced off clumps and lumps in the grass... We started brightly and the goal when it came was a result of a lovely piece of play, with Pacs flicking a neat ball to Jonno, who strode down the right flank before delivering a pass to the far side which Lokki gladly tucked away. HandY did have a few forays into our 18 yard box but cannot recall Lewis having to make a save in the first 45.
2nd half was pretty tight but once again, and I know we bleat about them but the officials did make some very odd decisions from flag waving for offside when Gavin was a good 4 feet on when ball was played, to free kicks awarded against us when seconds before Dean Sinclair was poleaxed. Add to that Pacs yellow card for I assume dissent, yet a home player used more than a few words beginning with F at the referee and no action taken. Sadly the pitch once again denied Darren Lok when clean through and a lump took the ball away from him as he was abut to bury it.
The only real scare on our goal was a rebound of the post from what appeared a mishit more than a shot..
All in all a good days graft on a surface that would be considered bad even at county league level....

Watched the video, that's how we was playing! The reason most were upset is that the so called whistle blower decided to change the team and we consequently lost several games and more importantly points. Finally the penny's dropped with the manager and we seem to have reverted back to how we was playing and winning!

The Whistle blower?? This is the oddest post we've had for ages. Striker, you've expressed quite a lot of reservations in your posts, and not much on the positive side. As my first post said, debate is healthy and criticism is a part of that. I could take your comments more seriously if you didn't make them from behind the "Striker" pseudonym. Any chance....?
