Bad news: we were shocking and we're lucky to not lose against a quicker more inventive H&why side, who hit post and had a goal disallowed.
Good news: Wilde; Tait and Austin near recovery and we still have not learnt how to lose.......yet!

Gary Wilson summed it up on SCR when he said it was a point gained with a number of players having a below-par performance.
Hayes are a strong side who always give us a problem at their ground. At least it is behind us now.
At least with almost a quarter of the season gone there is a little gap between the top three clubs and the rest. Early days but points in the bag are invaluable.
Edware Town today drew 1-1 with Tilbury so will be looking forward to their visit to Priory Lane when they will hope to put one over Borough next weekend.

Saw Eastbourne for the first time Saturday. At times very neat and good to watch but as has been mentioned they appeared to run out of steam. A draw was a fair result I feel. I was pleasantly surprised at how good some of the football was. I did think that the left back area was a little weak, but to be fair I may have caught the fellow on a bad day.

Hi homerpig. Welcome aboard. Just to respond to your coments. You are right about the left back, you did catch him on a bad day. Neil is one of our best players and usual very consistant. He has been injured lately. Also if you thought the footy was quite neat and good to watch, then keep coming. That was our worst performance of the season. It gets much better than that.
