Without any doubt I thought that Nathan Crabb has kept up his impressive show against Horsham. He stood out as the best on trial IMO. I think that the forwards will benefit hugely from the supply that players like wing men Nathan, Matt C and Adam W will provide them with: Andy Atkin, D Leach, and Pat H all looked to have found space and opportunities to score from service provided, esp by the Crabb brothers. Pats header was well taken. Nathan turned from goal maker to goal taker and only missed by an inch as his effort hit the post. Atkins curling effort just proved too high. When D Leach came on he too looked dangerous finding space for himself and with improved match fitness and recalibrating to this higher level; as Andy Atkin and Pat Harding were able to do, he will score a hatful of goals. Keeping the majority of last seasons side together will help us greatly, and the addition of some players i.e. attacking midfielders, that can improve the supply to the strikers and crank up the number of goals that we can score this season, things will look very interesting. Let's hope that all the money spent by our competitors hasn't nullified our improvements. Can't wait for the start of 2007 - 2008 Blue Sq South.

just a glorified non contact training session with not many tackles going in . I expect it to be the same on thursday against Hastings. Had to laugh at Myall second half trying to stop Crabby by blocks and shirt pulls and getting away with murder with Ady Colwells son running the line.
