I heard that GnN have been working very hard over the past month or so, attempting to encourage players to come down here to the coast. It seems a repeat of last year, in so far that, very few want to play footy in the deep southern reaches of East Sussex. 73, yep, 73 have been contacted with a view to acquiring their services or even....it does seem a massive number thinking about it, but I'm repeating what I heard last night! Apparently there is a guy from Oxford who will be at Uni' down here who is very good and may play for us; there is another Eastern European player, better than Yuri Dohnel (spelling?) and Victor Dolista, I was told, who will be looked at. Quite frankly, it does seem amazing that we can compete at a high level, within our League, without the big money backer, that some of our competitors enjoy and with the handicap of the Club's geography and the poor road systems around here. It is amazing.

To be honest, I'm quite pleased we haven't had the massive change in players that some of the other teams have. We have kept a settled squad of good players, which I think (hope) will give us a good start. The first few games may be a bit testing though with (please correct me If I have this wrong!) Ben, Matt and Lee suspended.
