The Seagulls recently awarded one-year professional contracts to Chris Winterton, Sonny Cobbs, Sam Gargan and Lloyd Skinner.
Deals are being arranged for all four to be borrowed by non-league Sussex clubs from the beginning of next season.
The scheme means the quartet of second year scholars get experience of men's football while Albion save on their wages.

It would be useful if we could supplement what we have with these quality player's. I would bet that Bognor are first in the queue to pack a few Gulls into their side. However, these creative player's could improve supply to OUR forwards, that is if they are midfielders. On the other hand, although the conditions were poor at the SSC Final at Priory Lane, they didn't look any better than what we have, IMO. The only difference between us and them, is speed - pace - and better disciplined in keeping shape. Jake Robinson was great, but maybe Dan Leach will achieve this level. Having said that, Jake isn't on offer. Sonny Cobbs sticks out of the crowd though, but he is a defender!! Sam Gargan is a 6ft 3" Centre Forward! apparently lacks the aggression to assert himself at this time. Chris Winterton is a good keeper, judging by the way he dealt with the wind. Maybe we might offer him some experience and he may be able to improve Hooky?

Chris Winterton, goalkeeper - presumably a relative (son?) of one-time Langney Sports target and later Eastbourne Town boss Dave Winterton?

Sam Gargan is a striker, Sonny Cobbs is a left sided defender but he also plays in the centre and Llyod Skinner is a winger. That was much easier wasn't it. I also think we should try to sign Chris Breach who has just been released by Brighton

Think its a bit early for Chris Winterton , maybe in a few years, plus a bit lightweight and inexperienced.
