If we beat braintree on saturday, we have to hope that either Bishops Stortford or Newport either lose or draw there game. It isnt necesary for them both to lose for us to make the play-offs, just one of them to lose would be enough. If one of the two was to draw and the other was to win, we would still make it along with the team who won. If however both newport and bishops storford lost and we were to beat braintree, by however many goals, we could completely hammer them but if those other two were to lose, braintree would also make the play-offs along with us. Sadly i think both newport and stortford will win there games on saturday though, but its going to be very interesting. Looking forward to saturday. Good luck boro!

Yes, we need to win (regardless), and so long as both Newport and BS don't win, we're in the play-offs.
It's also possible for us to make the play-offs if they do both win, if we win by four clear goals and Havant lose by five, but I think that that is unlikely to happen!
My feelings? We will make it. We will win (and let's make sure that everyone and their granny is there on Saturday, and all making some noise), Newport are playing their eighth game in sixteen days (and after yesterday, they must be exhausted; according to their fans forum, all substitutions they have made in the last few games, including against us, were forced by players being too tired to continue), and I firmly believe that Lewes will beat BS - Lewes are playing some excellent football now, have nothing to lose, and a lot of pride to play for, while BS know that they have to win to be sure of getting a top five spot, and so they will have to attack. Lewes will enjoy that, and are bound to take advantage of players forcing their way up front.
But after the number of games in such a short period of time, and the injuries we've taken, I have to say that the results of the play-offs are in the lap of the Gods - anyone could take it, and I don't think there is any clear favourite from any of the teams who could be there, nor any outsider.
Anyway, the most amazing end to the season, probably the tightest that it has ever been for a play-off place in any division ever, a real nail-biter that is going to go to the wire, and for the first time ever I am hoping that Lewes manage to score six goals!
