It WAS done at Borough just 11 days ago for the home match with Bishop's Stortford. Bognor may well have seen the success of that idea - it put over 200 more on the previous gate - and decided to use it.

I heard a rumour that the club were going to organise 'grumpy old men get in free' for the game with Cambridge. I know a few who would qualify!!

While I have no interest in travelling to Bognor just in order to kidnap a child so he/she can get in free, I know plenty of people who go to EBFC but also follow other teams, and a fair number who just like to see non-league football in Sussex, and so they may well be interested in this.
I am not a AFC Wimbledon fan either, but I signed their petition and am glad to see that their punishment has been reduced to a more reasonable level.
Publishing threads that are not solely about EBFC always gets a load of abuse on here, and I have no idea why (unless it is something saying that Lewes, BHA or West Ham have any good points at all, or that their fans deserve anything other than a slow and painful death, preferably involving a freak agricultural accident, in which case it is simply fair comment and common sense). Information on other local teams, reviews of our opponents, snippets of general football gossip, all seem relevant to me, especially when the thread title clearly shows what it is about.
If the thought of football being played in Bognor is so upsetting to you, don't read threads headed 'About football in Bognor' or similar.
