Check out the last ten games - the Boro have hit a pattern, and it is now clear what every results will be from now to the Braintree game (and beyond).
Our last ten results have been:
WDWDWDWDWD
and I see no reason why it should change! So, with ten games to play, that makes five wins and five draws to go, so we'll get another 20 points, or 72 in total. That gives us a play-off place, the semi final will be a win and a draw, so we make the final, and that is a guaranteed win.
It's written in the stars, Nationwide Conference guaranteed next year!

The only problem with that is the semi final is one leg at the highest place team's ground. So that means extra time in the final and possibly penalties.

Correction sportspool
The playoff semi's this season are over 2 legs, the highest placed team having the advantage of playing second on their own ground, the final is a one off at Stvenage Boro.

The way teams are playing at the moment it seems to be a possibility that the final will, after all, be between EBFC and Lewes (a bit of a long-shot, but a real possibility). If it is, would the FA listen to reason and re-arrange the match at Brighton? Or Crawley?

If it is, would the FA listen to reason and re-arrange the match at Brighton? Or Crawley? Simply answer, no, unfortunately.

Thought not.
O well, off to Stevenage it is. I don't drink as a rule, but when we go up I intend getting completely rat-arsed, probably won't have the patience to wait for the coach back to Eastbourne, and so will spend the weekend in Sunny Stevenage (and quite possibly the Monday in Miserable Magistarte's Court). Anyone able to recommend a decent be&be?
