I haven't heard this anywhere else, but I do know who Matthew Harding's son is. In fact there's two of them - one is a goalkeeper, one a striker - I saw them once playing for Hassocks I think.
(Just looked it up: Joel is the 'keeper, Pat is the striker and he's scored 26 goals for Hassocks in the Sussex County League this season.)

I think I saw the story in the Herald 1st April. Something about him Striker Harding being Dual Registered; meaning Hassocks will allow him to play for us, if we need him and they don't, i.e. match clash.

I also read that story and to be honest was a little amazed that we again are looking to the lower levels for players. When will Gary look at this lad especially now the Alliance has all but finished. I cannot beleive he will try a youngster from the county league in a "struggling side" when he refuses to blood our own youngsters. I have watched Pat on at least five occasions now against various standards of County opposition and in my opinion will not offer the team anything different to what we have already got. Scoring goals in the County League is a totally different kettle of fish to the Conference South.
