The reserves went down 4-2 at Brisbane Road but the scoreline doesn't really reflect what was a well balanced contest. The Sports gave run outs to a mixture of youth, fringe and 1st team members, and also included Jordan Wilson, a Fulham youth team player. The 'O's took the lead but Boro not only battled back to level through Andy Atkin, but then took a deserved lead when Danny Smiths culling shot was saved only for Darren Lok to head in for a 2-1 scoreline. Within a couple of minutes the game drew level again. A very harsh penalty awarded against Marc Pullen when the ball spun up of the midfielders foot gave the advantage to the home side and they finished the scoring for the day with a very well struck shot from the left side.
Borough line up. Jordan, Rowe, Franks, Hurley, Pullen, Weatherstone, Patton, Barnard, Atkin, Lok,Smith. SUBS Johnson, Hales, Wilson

Website says Simon Weatherstone came off injured early on, look anything serious do you know? Hope he's not out for long, we need all the players we can over the busy festive period.
