I know its early in the season but if the three Sussex teams finish in the same postions as they are now, ie Crawley 1st, Borough 14th and Lewes 24th what will happen to the money spinning local derbies? The Boxing Day match last year attracted an attendance of over 3,000 I think. If Lewes go down and Crawley go up who would we play? I can’t imagine a Boxing Day match against Ebblesfleet, say, pulling in as many. We must try to ensure that one of the other Sussex teams stays with us. If things are still going well for us this Christmas, perhaps we could donate 6 points to Lewes, just to preserve the fixture for the following year.

AFC Wimbledon would be a good one.

would never be a boxing day disaster as if we got a good finish in this league and lewes went down then the crowds would gradually go up and once were an established conference side who's winning then more people will take an interest but it does look as though if we stick around then we could be playing the likes of bournemouth and luton next season!!!!!
