Why do we never hastle the keeper???
Nathan was the only player to hastle their keeper and hes the shortest?
Why wernt lovett and pullen right in front of him making his job hard

Talking of corners, yet again disappointing to concede from one. Teams have scored so many goals against us over the years like that. Draw fair result.

Yeh draw a fair result but we should have "put them away" in the first half. Thought that we were a bit shot shy. How are Histon that high in the league though they are such an ordinary team, tootally one dimentional

How are Histon that high in the league though they are such an ordinary team, tootally one dimentional They won't stay there, but they are solid well organised and unlike us today came on strong in the second half ie. didn't run out of puff as it wasn't them hanging on at the end! Also pretty disappointing crowd, sunny day, Brighton away in Yeovil, Lewes lost already. I see Crawley got over 2000, mind you they are top now.

Such a contrast in styles between the two teams. We played some brilliant football at times, but were running on empty at the end. Good performances all round, with Mo and Jay the stand-out players for me.

Yes, it was a disappointing attendance today, where was everyone? Although another way of looking at it is there were only a handful of Histon fans, so I suppose 1000+ home fans isn't too bad.

Well done Shinless1 - at least you appreciated the excellent football Borough played in the first half. I thought it was some of the best passing football I have ever seen us play and we didn't let Histon play their usual game in the first half. No Harkin was great in the first half and was a vital part of our earlier good moves.
The second half Histon obviously had been given a tough halftime team talk and came at us with all guns blazing. They played well in the second half and we were playing catch up. Histon are not in my opinion an ordinary side - they finished 7th last season and will probably finish in about the same position or higher this year.
Why can't some our supporters start appreciating how well Borough have been playing rather than criticising what we do at this situation or that.
I am sure that any one of us would have jumped at the offer of 13 points from the first 9 games if someone had offered it before the season started.
Well done lads - you have made a great start and with a bit of luck here and there we would have even more points on the board. It is important we continue to get points from these games as we can see some of the teams who started badly are picking up points now.

Agree with Taffy. Really good football from Boro in the first half and we deserved the lead. We look like a side that's suddenly realised it's in this division on merit ... against Cambridge that wasn't the case.
Crowd was a bit disappointing - second lowest in the Conf today. Surely Eastbourne can do better than that, although the atmosphere was good. It's up to those of us who were there to spread the word I suppose. I feel I got my money's worth for £12.50.

Yes we did play well in the first half with excellent movement and passing, I thought Tait linked up the play really well, even if with the opportunity to break clear in the 2nd half he showed a lack of pace.
I am not sure why but we seemed to give them an extra yard in the 2nd and started to defend too deep and GW was certainly more vociferous trying to get the guys tighter. We were never overwhelmed though, and I still felt we could have won it even though Histon were getting the better of the exchanges.
Crowd as said by me and others disappointing, especially as it was lower than Alty and FGR on a Tuesday night. Its a shame as I am sure an extra couple of hundred would probably give GW a few more options, whereas £12K every other saturday means £6 a week, which in this division won't go far.
Just a question do the Legends Lounge people get counted in the figure as they don't seem to go through a turnstile?
