lee hook- 8- some brilliant stops, however SORT HIS KICKING OUT!!!! austin- 6.5 pullan-7 baker- 7 jenko- 7 harding-6- I don't see what he offers in this league armo- 7 smart-6 m. crabb-6 atkin- 7 sigere-6 subs- n. crabb- 6- not much of an impact, a.tait 6- did he even touch the ball?, wormull 5- was an embarresment every time he got the ball, maybe he will get away with it playing like that for lewes but I'm sorry but he and sigere have to do something more to win me over, let's see if they can improve once they get used to how we play! all in all a pleasing performance but rushden were well below par today and we should have capitalised but awful finishing let us down . and atmosphere 8/10 finally well done the north stand! for a cracking atmopshere , especially in the 2nd half , outsung rushden for all of the last 45 even though we were losing , let's hope we lift the team more regulary and see the results! maybe one day we could actually hear some noise from any other part of borough support

Dont know what game you were watching eastbourneyouth?? Austin as awesome 1st half and I would have put Sigere on a better mark than Atkin who was very quiet due to Sigare getting shots in in goalscoring areas. Pullen and Bakes were my MOM. Our midfield didnt get on top till a 20 minute spell in the 2nd half and we should have equalised. Rushden only had 4 shots on target and one of them was the pen . All in all a good performance and it one of those 2 one on ones had gone in we would have been singing their praises.Rushden were also the team hlding on at the end. Only one thing that puzzles me is that we take off our only left foot midfielder and change him with Harding on the left. The defender kept showing him the outside and Harding being right footed had to cut back

Austin was man of match for me. Think harding is bit out of his depth. But give him time to adjust.

chris you need you're head checked if you think siggy was mom , and maybe I was a little harsh on austin but I did remember benny almost costing us a goal with a misplaced pass straight to their forward and also he gave the ball away a lot. siggy is their to score goals and win stuff in the air and he has to win me over for sure

eastbourneyouth, your always so negative. whenever you post a comment on here it seems you never have anything good to say. (though i do agree with you that Simon Wormull was woeful when he came on)
be positve please!!! there were plenty of them yesterday.

Oh i know , i know and I'm actually happy about yesterday. however , we must eradicate things like very poor finishing now and I would like to see people like siggy and wormull playing with more passion for a new team that theyve just joined

Enjoyed the game on Saturday despite the result. I thought the lads put up a great showing and deserved at least a point. As in past seasons our strength is in the fact we don’t concede many. However, chances must be taken at this level. Hook – 7 Austin – 7 Pullen – 8 Baker – 7 Harding – 6 Smart – 6 Armstrong –7 Crabb – 6 Atkin – 6 Sigere – 7
Subs: Crabb – 6, Tait – 5, Wormull - 4 (Sorry but surely the worst ever debut, couldn’t have played worst if he tried. But he is quality and will have many great games for us in the future)
One last point, I felt sorry for the poor guy with the camera above the North Stand. Does the same guy do every home game. August – rainy and windy I bet he can’t wait for January; sleeting it down and windy!

I have to agree a bit with eastbourneyouth. Yes there were lot of positives. I was pleased how we competed and looked the better side for a lot of the game. But goals win prizes. At this level of football, chances like segere and wormall had, have got to go in. Theres plenty of time, so lets hope we can convert some of these chances and we will be ok. But it has to be said that we failed to score.

How could I have overlooked Jenkins 6 – not his best match ever for us, even without the penalty
