we will see, we've made some decent signings so far and I have confidence in our talented youth , but more signings are needed ! the loss of clinton morrison will hurt palace

Nice to see fans of small clubs bickering. ;D At least palace have not closed any part of their ground because fans cant be bothered to turn up. They should close all of it. Run down ground for a run down team. Dont bother posting that my team(Super Leeds) are not a big club anymore. We are where we are to give to give lesser teams their cup final and to put some money in their pockets. We are doing a tour of the leagues.

it wasn't because fans wouldn't turn up it was a cost cutting measure for the games with smaller attendances like 22,000 which for palace is a big attendance! but all parts will be reopened for the big games or games with bigger attendances , and I won't even bother arguing with a leeds fan as you've been through too much over the last 2 years! and also you have a whole tier of elland road closed!

eastbourneyouth - You think you'll go better than Palace next season ? Dream on, Pal. Your squad is looking as rubbish as last season - the 4-1 hammering at the hands of Palace at St Marys on the opening day of the season built the foundations for your God awful season...I was at that game with my brother a neice (Saints season ticket holders) and I thought the 4-1 flattered us because we were awful - Hence, a few months later we were in the bottom 4...That said, since NW arrived, we've been very solid - best defence (I think ;-) in the Championship last year and, whilst i agree we need a decent striker, the loss of Clinton will not be a major loss as he was blowing hot and cold last season. Good luck next season Pal, YOUR LOT REALLY WILL NEED IT ! NB. Just to say Clinton is training with Coventry - can you imagine the tabloids if he joins and plays along side Freddy Eastwood....Clint+Eastwood....

mate I was at the palace last season! and have been 4 times now and every time I go it looks like more of a s**thole than the last! and no wonder brighton hate you they must have hated going to places like that! we'll see how good our squad is shall we when the season starts but 4 wins out of 4 pre season aint bad whilst you're lot are struggling against teams like crawley and Bromley!!! and mate also I wouldn'nt discount our youth so much because our academy has produced players like walcott, shearer, wayne bridge, bale, le tissier and trust me their are many more to come! and i you want to go back down memory lane maybe look back the season before the 4-1 with saints winning 2-0 at selhurst!

Oh yes i would rather go to that **** hole called withdean than selhurst park. I have been to Selhurst Park a few times and its not a bad ground at all.

I thought this was an Eastbourne Borough forum?? but i suppose in a few years or so, boro could be playing both the saints and palace for a league meeting, teams going in opposite directions, boro on the up. saints on a downward spyral and palace not really going anywhere.
