i'm looking at the possibility of running an ebfc podcast over the oncoming season. i have all the recording equipment as I have a home recording studio over in Hastings.
however, i've only been following the club part time (seeing around 10 home matches a season) for the past 2 seasons. i'm looking for someone whose been around a bit longer supporting the club who'd be interested in being involved on the podcast.
could include interviews, discussions, fans phone in etc.
mainly i'm interested in whether people would think it could work and whether it would be worthwhile. and secondly, whether anyone would be able to commit to being part of a pre-recorded pilot show to come out in August just before the first home game.
would appreciate any feedback.

If no one here is up for it why not contact the club and offer your services. You never know, podcast etc may be a good feature for the official site and they may take you up on the idea. ;D

I would be interested in listening to a EBFC podcast, but I'm afraid I have nothing to offer towards it!

I wondered whether some of our journalist friends who use this site might have been interested. I think it would certainly be worth contacting the club to see what the view would be.I personally like the idea.

thanks guys. i've actually had some contact from a few people now who are interested in getting involved which is great. ebfc1, if you PM me we can have a chat about what i'm looking to achieve and how much you might be able to commit to the project.
i'm thinking it'll be a fortnightly or at worst a monthly show as weekly might struggle to raise content. hopefully it would be something people would look forward to and my goal would be to make it interactive with players, staff and fans and give it a community feel with loads of people getting involved.
i have a studio in hastings where it can be recorded, but if anyone has a base to record it in eastbourne, i'd be interested in doing it there as it would be easier for players, fans and staff to come in and get involved.

I'd be willing to help out with any graphic / website work you might need doing! And if / when you become the most popular online podcast in the World and you decide to branch out in to video podcasts, then I'll definitely be interested

No worries, you should feel good, considering I've been here since last year and the first time I've ever posted was to this topic

okay. so the wheels are officially in motion on this now. theres been a good response to the idea and a there seems to be a bit of talent out there amongst the ebfc faithfull.
im after one or two wannabe radio presenters to co-host the show. it'll involve committing to the recording on a monthly basis by coming down to the studio in hastings. no experience required, just an enthusiasm for the club and the podcast idea really.
if theres two people out there who already know each other and think they'd be a decent "double-act" on hosting the show then that'll be fine too.
if anyone is interested, please get in touch. the plan will be to record a pilot first and see how it goes from there.
i've never run a podcast before, so it'll be a learning curve for all involved im sure.
thanks everyone for your support so far.
