Still only 1 Keeper at this time. How about taking Steve Williams, Lewes keeper from last year We would then have the 2 best keepers from last year. I can't see that he's signed for anybody yet.

remembering steve williams thought he was a bit dodgy hopefully the ex brighton keeper will sign for us cant think of his name :S i still think we need to add one more defender to our team and that should be steve robinson!

I believe chris winterton was released who is a real talent! the point is were going to need MORE PACE in our side, I tell you all now matt crabb and Pat Harding will not cut it in the premier as they don't have the flair to challenge experienced defenders , and also we do need more cover at the back , otherwise what happens when pullers get's injured - ballard! and that's it !maybe we should look at getting in some loanees, all the other conference clubs are constantly signing players for the new season and i'm starting to get worried

Cocked it up again Meant to answer Eastbourneyouth
Come on now!! Give these players a chance. Sometimes you have to appreciate the work-rate they give. You don't see them moaning all the while if the ball is put to their feet and they chase back if needed. Time will tell if they are not up to it, as it wil for the rest of the squad.

yes but let's prepare for the inevitable now before we find ourselves in the relegation zone near the end of september and in trouble

yes but let's prepare for the inevitable now before we find ourselves in the relegation zone near the end of september and in trouble If by lets prepare you mean lets sign lots of players that wont necessarily get matches week in and week out, but will over extend the budget then NO!!! lets not!! Len G and N have consistently managed to balance books etc and still give a good account of themselves on and off the field... I would rather they stuck at what they have done best over the past few seasons and keep the faith... IF and when we need cover then bring in loanees but I trust the management team to deliver!!

yup exactly right.Anyway I think you will find that Garry and Nick are keeping some of the budget in reserve so if the need arises and we need to strengthen then we can.As they say keep the faith some of us had similar thoughts when we went into the Blue square South and now look at us.

Where is this Steve Robinson from and who has he played for at this level? It sounds like he is fast full back with good experience which would be a good signing in my book. I think the keeper you are trying to recall was called Seb Barton, but I may be wrong.

I'm talking about borough but saints may be involved again in the relegation battle, sorry if I sound pessimistic but theres a good saying - fail to prepare - prepare to FAIL and I just don't believe our squad is good enough yet to compete, but would be fine with at least 4 more players- 2 wingers, a defender, and a goalkeeper
