It looks very different to the last pitch. Now it seems that the soil has a much higher sand element to it, obviously to help with more effective drainage, and it is greening up nicely. Fantastic! I looked up "Grassform" online. never knew grass could be so interesting, well, this sort of grass anyway

been up the club and the pitch is looking great , very green ! no markings as yet though ! No sign of the new floodlights either ? oh and didn't win a bloomin thing in the meat raffle !

There wont be any new floodlights in the near future. The existing ones meet BSP requirements and the Setanta cameras can compensate, as seen at the tennis at Wimbledon. From what I have heard about the budgets and wages at other clubs in the BSP, we will need every penny that we can lay our hands on. Perhaps we should start a floodlight fund.
