Hmmm well perhaps it is a little optimistic. Not sure which is the better bet though, Lewes are 5/6 to go down according to their website!!

I can't see how Lewes can be the same as us? Why is Barrow 50/1 Any ideas? I wouldn't bet on Crawley either unless they remove Evans. Maybe we could bet on his future!

The thing is that last year Eastbourne were 28/1 for the conf south. Not saying they will win BSP but the truth is that at this level of football the bookies can't be sure about anything. How can they say a team is 66/1 when we haven't even announced our squad???

i'm guessing us at barrow are only 50-1 because of the the 20 game unbeaten run we completed in the play off final (won 16 drawn 4 lost 0), and the fact we only let in 2 goals in our last 13 games - and maybe because we've been in conference national before - this will be our 4th visit i think( including being founder members).

Boro and Lewes both at 66/1? Wonder if I can get a bet on thjat we finish above Lewes at small odds-on (10/11, say)? be well worth a few hundred if I could!

Sorry, I (try to) bet with my head and not my heart, and I can't see Borough being much above the half-way point next season - at he moment I'd settle for EBFC in the exact middle of the table, and Lewes bottom with Nil Points.
Cambridge look a decent each-way bet at 18-1, though. Maybe even Wrexham, but the odds are a bit short for each-way punting.
Havn't seen any odds on relegation yet, but if I can get 4-1 on Lewes, I'd lump on!

Torquay look decent at 7/1, with a cheeky e/w on Rushden & Diamonds & York City.....

I wouldn't bet on it.... www.tonykempster.co.uk/newconf.htm Looks like Lewes can only go down from here - perhaps they should put this link on their website, so that they can remember the 'glory days' when they were mid-table in the Premier! ;D
