Cheers Kempy you gimp.
Was thinking more in line with pushing for promotion in BSP, more seating around the stand, weekly attendances of 2000+ and onions in the burgers that aren't carbonised

Think you'll find 'Kempy' is the same person who posts as 'williamkemp' on the Lewes forum....

pathetic kempy get on with your home work. as to the question ,solvent and building on our foundations. if you had asked the question ten years ago and we had said conference football I guess people would have laughed. I just hope that we can keep the "community" and that we don't get taken over by money men. What happened to "the share issue" as I thought that was to protect our status as a community club. Ps still in dreamland

ps before my "friend" vern picks me up yes of course we will need more money.we need the local buisness people as well as individuals to now get behind the club.We can all help in different ways, season tickets, sponsoring a player get your work to consider sponsorship etc etc.

I would hope that we "consolidate" in BSP. Learn the way forward to be a future League Club - with excellent training facilities; a well run Youth / Reserves / U18 etc set up. Increasing revenue and reputation - bigger Gates. 10 years League....back to reality, let's try and survive first.

consolidate of course has to be our priority but I like the other bits vern spoke about.I think the club is in good hands and who knows? exciting times lets continue to live the dream and support.

If we compare the population of eastbourne to other towns in theory we should be able to establish ourself in higher leagues ; Eastbourne 110000 Gillingham 98000 Wigan 810000 Burnley 73000 Barnsley 72000 Grays 68000 Torquay 68000 Lewes 15000

Higher than Lewes and Brighton would be good. I get fed up with hearing about them both from Harty and not enough about us. Maybe they just enjoy promoting bad news!

6 weeks time is more relavent, what will the team consist of? Will we take on new players? I personally hope we give applause to the lads that won the promotion and give them 1st choice. I think that what has happened at Lewes is discracefull. The attitude of you got paid for it didn't you, is not good enough, they all put their hearts and souls into winning. Even King! I would like to think that we have a good ground for the start of the season with a good team. Lets hope we can have some early home matches.

A factor though that might be a problem down the line is the ground. Throughout the steps and leagues, the FA annually produce new stadium grading criteria based on various factors, including Health & Safety issues. Now we're in the top flight and assuming we stay there and consolidate, there might be some future FA mandate stating all Conference Premier grounds must reach a set criteria or be demoted. How far would we be able to expand our Priory Lane ground if required?

I think we might be talking at cross purposes here. Knighty meant Boro will get six points from the two local derbies. Way things are going at Lewes, I assume that kempy means Lewes will get six points next season, total.

I think that's a bit over confident don't you. Eastbourne has more potential and the ground has space for extentions. Where will Lewes be in 5months time, let alone 5 years? They will have to find another pan to drip in!
