Tomorrow's Eastbourne Gazette will feature five pages on Boro's triumph at Stevenage, including a full match report, interviews with a number of players and Garry and Nick, plus a number of action shots. The photos include those of a couple of forum regulars - see if you can sport Sportspool and Boroeagle in the paper tomorrow!

The Gazette stated the attendance as 1,780 with Hooky as MOM. Nice photo's although my own dial (a horizontal position looking sloshed) certainly wouldn't have made these pages ;D

Nice photo's although my own dial (a horizontal position looking sloshed) certainly wouldn't have made these pages ;D Not sure where we got that attendance figure from, but the MoM awards in the Gazette or Herald are always the opinion of the particular match reporter - in this case, Ken McEwan - and not the official MoM announced at a game. Often, they will tally, sometimes they will not. I happen to agree with Ken that Hooky was undoubtedly Boro's MoM, due to the saves he made.

I was puzzled that it said the pic was of Anthony and myself after the match.... 1) it was still daylight 2) As if i was that calm and composed at full time!!

That was the only ever time the Gazette has been worth buying!!! You flatter us... You'll be wanting to buy the Herald on Friday too...more coverage, a look ahead to next season and a cut out and keep page reviewing the key games of the season and profiling the players who got Boro into the Blue Square Premier.
