Are likely to be liquidated as they have failed to agree a CVA. No doubt they will do an Aldershot.

...Which would result in Altrincham being let off the hook, yet again, for the 3rd season running!! If this is to be the case and they are going to be unfairly still allowed to play in the BSP, due to another teams misfortune, then I look forward to seeing boro play them again, we have alot to prove, after the 2005 play-off final!

They have finished in a relegation spot every season since they got promoted.

According to the Non-League paper (Sunday), the fate of Halifax will probabley be decided in the next 24hrs.
It's not just the C V A, but the £800000+ they owe the Inland Revenue.
Demotion back to level 5 is more than likely.
Very sad for a great old club.

I've been to Halifax a few times over the years, a great club, and great supporters, most of whom seem to be stark raving mad - one bloke used to take a massive stuffed alsation toy to every game, about twice life-sized, and spent most of the game asking the coppers if it was possible to get him a trial as a police dog! I remember us Millwall fans being pelted with black puddings one half-time in the early eighties. Great memories, total lunatics, and a very sad end for a great little community club, if end it is. Hope they pull it off somehow, it was one game I had ear-marked a day off to go and see.
