What a brilliant night, it dont get much better than that, just about made it there after a nightmare journey, fantastic support for us, loads of noise and singing-did it sound good on the tv/radio?? Good hard working performance from all the team, good substitutions at the right time which made all the difference, everyone going mad when we scored, Ben's amazing run with the ball when he beat about 5 of their players, pitch invasion... FANTASTIC...

Never did think much of your remarks goonerboy and today you have not changed. A good match well managed with the proven result. Always thought we could do it. You cant always come out as the best looking team. We were the best, as we have been all year.

As the guys have proved all season, they never give up... In all fairness Hampton did have the better of the game, BUT never underestimate the Boro spirit... In the end we got what we desrved over the course of the season... Nice touch from the H and are players when they applauded us... It was a game played in the right spirit and thankfully we came away with the spoils. Credit must go to Gary, Nick and all the backroom boys and girls, Len and the committee and every body associated with Eastbourne Borough FC. Congratulations to one and all...... Postscript...... No mention of coaches then Gooner?? Was hoping you were going to come and chat to me re your extensive knowledge of Volvo B10M's.... maybe you were too busy trying to mend another coach that was in distress ?

What can you say! Fantastic night, great atmosphere. Congatulations to the whole club from players to admin. Looking forward to going back to Stevange next year already. When you look at the Conference table, I still can’t believe some of teams we will be playing. Also the Christmas holiday fixtures are settled already.

Absolutely terrific result and well deserved after the main season. With Mansfield relegated and Burton losing their playoff semi there are a couple of local games for me now that Borough are going National!

Well done everyone, not just for last nights battling performance, but for the whole wonderful season of exciting football. Like everyone I can't wait for next year, and yet more Thursday night football. Yeeeeeeeeesssssss!!!!!!! I haven't long been up either but cant find painkillers for my aching head Hampton played well and were better on the night. . . . but it's the results over the WHOLE season that counts, not just one match. The facts don't lie: we've been in the top 2 all season, winning 23 league games, H&are 21. . . we have a better goal difference. . +45 to +38. . .boro have the best defensive record of the entire league. . . and in our 3 meetings with hampton this season, our record is: Pl3 W2 D1 L0 We scored 4 times, they couldn't score once. Having just viewed a tv reply of a very emotional and nearly speechless GW after the victory, our club and promotion means so much for him, Nick, Len, staff and fans. He said all other family members and friends had decked out & packed a scottish pub to support & watch boro on tv. Hope Fergie's still managing in a few years time. . .I'm sure after a few more promotions, G&N would enjoy sharing a bottle of claret or fine malt at Old Trafford ;D

FANTASTIC! Great night, whilst I agree that H&are were the better side, it was very one dimensional - HOOF ball ! When we got the ball down, we showed our quality.
Great substitutions, Nath's goal was almost in slow motion, and Armo's winner capped off a fine season for the skipper.......and as for Ben's run......!!
It was great to allow fans onto the pitch and they/we conducted ourselves in a fitting manner - The mutual admiration shown between the H&are players and our supporters at the end was very nice......
Well done one and all, congratulations to everyone connected with EBFC - A fine team for a fine town.

A great smash and grab raid by Borough last night. The match was played in the right spirit and I was impressed with the Hampton players who appreciated the great reception our supporters gave them at the end.
Our defence yet again held out and we put the ball away when we needed to.
I also thought the substitutions were well conceived, made at just the right time and proved most effective.
A well-deserved achievement to play in the top level of English Non-league football achieved a year earlier than was the original target.
Next year will certainly bring us new experiences and will not be easy but brings us new places to visit and new people to meet.
We have made quite a few friends in Conference South and no doubt will see some of them in the future when they also gain promotion!
Congratulations to Gary and Nick who have proved what an excellent team they are.
Onwards and upwards!!

Well done to everyone involved within the Club, This is a promotion that has been earnt over the years and not bought for the season, as with some clubs. CONGRATULATIONS. Hopefully I will catch up with a few old faces at a few fixtures up near the midlands next season.
Good coverage of the Match on Setanta, but what a crap way of presenting it. Still at least it was on.

I'm still buzzing! Terrible nights sleep and not concentrated one bit at work today as can't stop thinking about last night! Atmosphere in the stand we were in was brilliant and I understand when we scored the roar at Langney Sports was deafening! The memory will live with me forever and I can easily say that is the best, not in quality though, game I have ever been to. Proud to be an Eastbourne fan!! Just want to say thank you to all concerned at the club for the achievement and for my fellow fans for creating such a wonderful atmosphere. Should say the H&are fans and players were very gracious in defeat and I'm sure they appreciated the great reception they got from us at the end. Here's to next season and the outstanding progress of our club to continue long into the future.

Well done on your promotion to the BSP, have been keeping an eye on Eastbourne for a while as my uncle lives down there.
Have not been to an Eastbourne Borough game yet though but have been to see Eastbourne Town & Eastbourne UA.
May see you all at Wrexham though!
